Prep football (Wednesday results)
On Wednesday, Oct. 14 (MEA-week kickoffs), Cloquet defeated Duluth East 41–30 in Cloquet. The Duluth News Tribune game story and WDIO’s Prep Sports Extra both report that final. Separate WDIO lines the same night also listed Hermantown over Rock Ridge and Grand Rapids over Proctor; those other scores are from WDIO alone in the sources checked for this package, so they are not detailed here.
